Where are your books?

You may be wondering why a bookstore website has no books listed for sale. As a small indie bookstore, we do all online book sales exclusively through Bookshop.org and Libro.fm. This helps keep our operating costs at a minimum as we save up for a physical space, and it ensures that you get the best service possible as Bookshop and Libro have entire staffs dedicated to delivering your purchase as quickly as possible and fixing any problems which may arise.

What is Bookshop.org?

Bookshop.org is a B Corp that functions as an Indie Amazon, with a portion of each sale going to the independent bookstore you've selected. As with any online marketplace, simply go to the search bar at the top of the page and type the title or author of the book you're looking for to be presented with a list of results you can browse and purchase. It's as easy as shopping online at Barnes & Noble, Etsy, or any other major retailer!

How does Bookshop.org work?

When you choose to support us with your Bookshop.org purchase, 30% of the cover price goes directly to us. While this doesn't sound like a lot, if we order the book for you through our own website, we only get 40% of the list price while also having to pay for shipping and our own labor for the fulfillment. In the end, Bookshop's 30% is a much better deal and the books often get to you much faster because they have a larger staff with more resources!

To make sure your purchase supports us, check for our logo and bookstore name in the top left.

If you don't see our logo or bookstore name, click the "Choose a Bookstore" link in the top right and search for "Chapterhouse Books" in the bookstore map.

What is Libro.fm?

Libro.fm is a Social Purpose Corporation that functions like an indie Audible, with a portion of each sale going to the independent bookstore you've chosen to support. As with any online marketplace, simply go to the search bar at the top of the page and type the title or author of the book you're looking for to be presented with a list of results you can browse and purchase. It's as easy as shopping online at Barnes & Noble, Etsy, or any other major retailer! They also have a free mobile app for iOS and Android.

How does Libro.fm work?

When you choose to support us with your Libro.fm purchase, either through an à la carte audiobook purchase or a monthly membership, we get a portion of the proceeds.

To make sure your purchase supports us, check for our logo in the top left.

If you don't see our logo, click the hamburger menu on the top right (the three horizontal lines next to "Log in"), and then click "Bookstore Finder" under the "About Libro.fm" heading. Search for "Chapterhouse Books" or scroll down to find us listed alphabetically in the Online and Pop-Up section.
